Arbutus Shore Residential Resort

Situated in the southwest corner of the Tsartlip First Nation Village, this quiet picturesque site overlooks several small bays and Saanich Inlet. The Arbutus Shore Resort sits amidst the existing trees, leaving a natural forest area to the south, east and north. There are expansive views through southwest to northwest over the tranquil Saanich Bay Inlet. The entrance is defined by and passes through a curved grouping of portal elements, representing the frame of a Salish shed house site on a beach. The buildings form an inner courtyard or gathering place overlooking the beach and inlet that includes both passive and active facilities; landscaped gardens, swimming pools, games and activity area.
