Sun Peaks Residence

Located in the newly developing Sun Peaks Ski Resort outside of Kamloops, this 4,000 square foot residence was designed as a ski vacation home.  The client specified that he wanted a timber frame house to emulate a ‘zen temple’ situated on rock in the forest.  The living room is a towering two storey timber frame with full wall glazing overlooking the ski hill.  Exterior finishes are cedar and fir, on basalt rock, with a concrete tile roof.
